Experience an unforgettable day and night on the Greenland Ice Sheet

Join us on an exciting and unique trip to the Greenland ice sheet where we combine hiking, ice swimming, climbing and accommodation. We start the adventure in Kangerlussuaq and drive through magnificent nature for 37 kilometers until we reach the edge of the ice cap. From here we cross the moraine and move onto the ice itself.

With crampons strapped to your boots, we hike across the spectacular icy landscape towards a meltwater well, also known as a mill. Here we explore the dramatic ice canyons using ice screws and ropes, giving us a unique opportunity to take a closer look at the structures and beauty of ice.

Adventurous ice bathing and hiking

After exploring, we continue our hike to the fascinating “bathing lake” where you have the chance to take a refreshing and brave dip in the clear, cold water. We then hike further into the ice and experience the impressive valleys before returning to the edge of the ice.

Camp life on the ice sheet

When we finish our adventure for the day, we set up camp at the edge of the ice. We cook together in the communal tent and enjoy ourselves until we retire to separate tents. The next morning, we enjoy breakfast in the communal tent, pack up camp and drive back to Kangerlussuaq.
