"We visited Kangerlussuaq in the summer of 2020, spending a day there between Ilulissat and Denmark. We had been recommended to contact Evald for a trip to the Inland Ice. We had booked a trip to the Russell Glacier and Point 660, and it was a good decision 🙂 Evald picked us up at the airport in his four-wheel drive and told us lively about Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, nature and his own story. On the drive to the ice cap, we saw both musk oxen and huge reindeer. You can drive almost all the way to the edge of the ice, after which you can easily walk onto the ice cap, a special experience. On the way back we made a stop with a fantastic view, where Evald had brought delicious homemade sandwiches etc. back in Kangerlussuaq we also had the opportunity to see his small wool business, where they pick musk wool from skins they buy from local hunters. Evald gets a great recommendation from here, and we have also recommended visiting friends to use Evald when traveling through Kangerlussuaq."
